How To Cook Pierogi 

We share how to make the perfect pierogi, every time.

Follow these easy instructions and wow yourself and your guests! Total cook time 15-20 minutes.

Items you will need: 

  • Cast iron or non-stick pan or griddle
  • Butter, salt, onions (sweet, minced) 
  • Topping options: sour cream, apple sauce, powdered sugar
  • Pierogi from Babci's

Step 1: Fully defrost your pierogi before cooking 

Step 2: Put cast iron pan on medium heat, stove-top, with a tsp. of butter to coat the pan before putting pierogi in 

Step 3: Once medium (low) heat put pierogi in. Watch, turn over 3-5 min on each side- more until desired browning/crisp. *once one side is done, put in your onions to sautee while you finish cooking the other side

Step 4: Once cooked on each side - take your pierogi out, plate, and sprinkle sea salt and oher toppings to desired amounts on top or on the side for dipping.

Who is Babci?

Babci was the matriarch of the Hidecavage family. She was an excellent cook and baker with her claim to fames polish-italian-american family recipes. 

What ingredients do you use?

We use locally sourced ingredients, all-natural, and as organic and fresh as possible. We are working on adjusting Babci's traditional recipe to offer Gluten free and Vegan options - coming soon! 

What types of pierogi are there?

We started with three traditional recipes: Potato, Cheese, and Cabbage. We are working on seasonal flavors—stay tuned for those. 

What days are you open?
